From Mount Fuji to Giverny-- Japanese Art History and European Impressionism

From the castles of the shoguns to the forest cottages of the tea masters, we will explore Japanese art history. We will also explore how Japanese art inspired Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, and other European Impressionists and Post-Impressionists.
