Food in Art

Lynn Berkowitz, instructor

This art history course explores still life, genre, and installation depictions of food through the modern lens and considers previous works of art that inspired them. Drawing on an array of artists & isms from museums near and far, we will follow the thread between art of the recent and their link to the past to appreciate the transitions. This course is a blended lecture and conversational format where student insights contribute to the learning for all.

Classes meet March 24 - April 21, Wednesdays 12:30 - 2:30 pm

$115 (Museum members $90)
