In this course, the focus will be upon study of the aspects of each feature of the face and pertinent anatomical structure, essential to effective drawing of the subject. We’ll engage in drawing processes and techniques foundational to rendering form, and subtleties of expression. Students will gain a basic comprehension of pertinent anatomy. They’ll learn basic techniques for drawing the face, from the frontal, three-quarter, and profile views. Students will understand the importance of nuance when creating expressive drawings.

Classes meet March 18 - May 20, Thursdays 3:00 - 500 pm
