In this workshop, students will create a charcuterie tray, one or two small dishes, and a small sauce bowl by using a template for the tray and dish, and make a pinch pot for the sauce bowl. Students may use various textures, stamps, and molds to decorate the set per preference. The cup can be attached to the tray or kept separate. Once it is bisque fired, students will return to paint on the glaze and get it ready for the final firing. Students will learn how to work with a clay slab, make a pinch pot, attach decorations (sprigs), and the difference between glazes and underglazes.
