Beginner level
Students will learn how to break down what they see into simple shapes, accurate proportions, light, shadow, and form. Through demonstrations and guided practice, students will work from still-life arrangements, natural objects, and photo references while developing skills with graphite and charcoal. In a supportive environment that values progress over perfection, beginners will build confidence and learn to see from an artist’s perspective. Click here for recommended supply list.
