Beginner and intermediate levels
This course provides a comprehensive foundation in the essential principles of representational art. Working in the medium of choice, students will learn to see like an artist by developing skills in drawing, composition, value, color theory, brushwork, and the application of paint or pastel. Through demonstrations, individualized instruction, and hands-on studio practice, students will complete finished works while gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to continue their artistic journey.
