Students will be introduced to various styles and techniques of non-representational, abstract painting, including Abstract Expressionism, Color Field, Figurative Abstraction, Geometric and Hard-Edge. Through a series of individual projects in oil or acrylic media, students will explore artistic techniques and concepts incorporating elements of line, shape, form, color, tone, and texture. Click here for recommended supply list.
