THE CREATIVE PHOTOGRAPHER
Instructor: Aric Attas

Discover your world with fresh eyes! This class uses photography to engage the healing power of creativity. Today’s technology gives us the opportunity to carry a camera everywhere we go. Whether you use a smart phone or a more sophisticated camera, we will explore new ways of thinking and seeing creatively. Local photographer, Aric Attas, will guide Veterans through a variety of photographic strategies to help them to discover unique perspectives, see new patterns and themes not readily apparent, and develop personal insight. Participants will learn how to apply those discoveries to photography and reframe aspects of their lives. No previous experience required; all skill levels are welcome. Bring your own camera, from iPhones to state-of-the-art dSLRs. Each week students will be given a creative challenge to help them refine their photography skills.
